Ramadan Relief for Those Most in Need: A Guide to Giving
As we gather for Iftar each evening, millions worldwide struggle to find their next meal. For many, Ramadan is not just about fasting, it’s about survival. This blessed month is a time for generosity, reflection, and community. It’s also our opportunity to extend a helping hand to those in desperate need.
We are committed to providing urgent relief to families facing hunger, displacement, and hardship at Muslim Hands USA. Through our Ramadan programs, we’re ensuring that vulnerable communities in Gaza, Yemen, Pakistan, The Gambia, Mali, Niger, and Senegal receive life-saving support.
Why Your Donation Matters This Ramadan
Ramadan is a time of multiplied rewards, and one of the greatest acts of worship is giving to those in need.
But for millions, this Ramadan is filled with uncertainty. Due to conflict, poverty, and food insecurity, families struggle to find food, water, and shelter. Your Zakat and Sadaqah can change this.
By donating, you can ensure that a family has food for the entire month, an orphan receives education and care, or a struggling community gains access to clean water. Every contribution makes a difference.
How Muslim Hands USA is Providing Relief
With your support, we are delivering essential aid in some of the most crisis-affected regions:
Gaza: Feeding Families in Crisis

The people of Gaza are facing unimaginable hardship. In 2024, Muslim Hands delivered over 4.5 million hot meals and more than 7,800 food parcels. But the need continues to grow.
You can help:
- $250 provides Ramadan food parcel, feeding a family for a month.
- $150 provides 100 hot cooked meals for displaced families ($1.50 / Per Hot Meal)

With one of the highest malnutrition rates in the world, Yemen is in urgent need of support. Our five bread factories produce over 10,000 loaves daily, ensuring that families have a reliable source of sustenance.
Your donations:
- $105 feeds over 300 people per day (600 loaves of bread).
- $210 feeds over 600 people per day (1,200 loaves of bread).
- $560 feeds over 1,600 people daily (3,200 loaves of bread).
This simple but essential food source helps widows, orphans, and people with disabilities survive.
Orphan Sponsorship: Changing Lives for the Future

There are 153 million orphans worldwide, and many are left without food, education, or care. Sponsoring an orphan this Ramadan provides them with nutrition, medical care, education, and emotional support.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “I and the one who cares for an orphan will be in Paradise like this”—and he held two fingers together.
Your support ensures that an orphan has the stability and protection they need to build a secure future.
Clean Water: A Life-Changing Gift

Every year, 3.4 million people die from water-related diseases. In communities across Mali, Niger, Pakistan, Senegal, The Gambia, and Yemen, unsafe drinking water remains a major obstacle to survival.
By donating, you can provide:
- A Tube Well ($310) to support up to four families.
- A Dig-a-Well ($950) to serve a village or school.
- A Community Well ($4,000) to provide water for over 200 families.
Each well provides long-term access to clean water, changing lives for generations.
Ways You Can Give This Ramadan
- Provide Iftar for Families in Need: Just $100 feeds a family for the entire month.
