Families like Rizwana’s in Pakistan once walked over 2.5 miles every day just to fetch water. Often, the only available sources were ponds or lakes, unsafe for drinking. Through our Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) projects, Muslim Hands USA installed Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants and wells that bring clean, safe water directly to her community.

In Gaza, families like Suliman and Nour Azab’s struggle every day to survive. Displaced multiple times, they returned to the ruins of their home in Khan Younis after Suliman lost his job at a local ice cream factory when it was bombed.
Now, their children, ages 10, 8, and 6, stand in long lines to collect water, bread, and hot meals.
As Suliman explains, “Kids stand in line for hot meals every day. No other choice: if we don’t do this, we will not eat.”
Your donations provide emergency food parcels and hot meals through local bakeries like Castle Bakery, which now feeds over 6,000 families with support from the World Food Programme (WFP).

Livelihood Projects: Growing Independence in Mali
In Safekoro, Mali, families are building their future through our Model Village Project. Each of the 171 households now has access to a dedicated plot in a one-hectare community garden, supported by a solar-powered irrigation system and borehole.
The project focuses especially on women, equipping them with tools, training, and storage facilities to grow food year-round. Surplus crops can be sold in local markets, creating both food security and income.

Education: Laying the Foundations of Opportunity
Also in Safekoro, your donations are helping to build new schools. The Model Village School Project includes:
- 3 new classrooms
- 2 toilet blocks (separate for boys and girls)
- Administrative office
- Desks and furniture for teachers and students
Once complete, the school will be integrated into the Malian national education system, staffed by the Ministry of Education. Over 120 children will benefit immediately, with generations to come finding opportunity through learning.
