And they are helpless without proper medical supplies, humanitarian relief, and essential psychological support. Vital medical supplies are needed for girls and women during their periods. Pregnant women who are unable to get adequate means of hygiene, medical supplies, and care are prone to getting sick and being in life-threatening situations for themselves and their newborn children.
