6 Reasons why you should give your Qurbani/Udhiyah to Muslim Hands

Aisha Adam

At Muslim Hands, we uphold the utmost seriousness in fulfilling our duty of distributing your Qurbani/Udhiyah. Our commitment lies in adhering to the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw) at every stage of the process, ensuring the complete validity of your sacrifice and maximizing its impact on impoverished families.

1. You choose your location.

You have the freedom to choose the destination for your Qurbani/Udhiyah donation. Alternatively, you can opt for the 'Where Most Needed' option, granting our dedicated on-ground team the authority to determine the locations for your Qurbani/Udhiyah. This year, we will be conducting your Qurbani/Udhiyah in India, Mali, Pakistan, and ‘Where Most Needed’. For as little as $50, you can fulfill this significant religious duty while also providing nourishment to those most in need.

2. Your Qurbani/Udhiyah is stun-free.

Your Qurbani complies with Sharia standards and is performed without stunning the animals, adhering to the traditional Sunnah methods of slaughter.

3. We only distribute fresh meat.

Qurbani/Udhiyah meat is delivered fresh, without being frozen or canned. These communities, who have been deprived of meat for months, are filled with joy upon receiving fresh meat.

4. Addressing Global Hunger through Your Qurbani/Udhiyah.

Communities across the world are grappling with increased economic challenges caused by the soaring cost of living, the consequences of conflicts and natural disasters and economic volatility. These pressing issues have exacerbated hardships, particularly among disadvantaged families, and have led to a widening wealth disparity, leaving millions on the verge of starvation. To combat this crisis, our dedicated teams collaborate closely with community leaders to identify the most impoverished families who are in dire need of meat.

5. Your Qurbani/Udhiyah is offered after Eid Salah

At Muslim Hands, we ensure that your Qurbani/Udhiyah sacrifice is carried out after Eid Salah, following the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw), as verified in the following hadith: “Whoever offers a sacrifice after the prayer has completed his rituals (of Eid) and has followed the way of the Muslims.” [Bukhari]

6. Your Qurbani/Udhiyah generates employment.

We source your Qurbani/Udhiyah animals locally in every location, ensuring income generation for families in need. This ensures that poor families are fed in impoverished regions while also supporting local farmers and creating employment.
