This Ramadan
Sponsor an Orphan

This Ramadan Follow The Sunnah and Help An Orphan

No child should grow up without love, protection, and the chance to build a better life. For just $45 a day, you can provide an orphan with the essentials they need—nutritious meals, education, healthcare, and a safe place to call home. That’s just $1.50 a day to transform a child’s future.

Sponsoring an orphan is Sadaqah Jariyah—your generosity provides food, education, and care, leaving a lasting impact. Give today and earn continuous rewards.

We work in communities around the world, reaching orphans in the most vulnerable conditions. Every child’s situation is different, which is why our support is tailored to their unique needs—ensuring they receive the care, stability, and opportunities they deserve.

Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and cared for. Be the reason an orphan knows they are not alone.

Why sponsor an orphan with Muslim Hands ?

When you sponsor an orphan through Muslim Hands, you are paired with a child in need. Your monthly contribution is sent to our field offices for immediate distribution, ensuring the child receives ongoing support.

Muslim Hands teams are very thorough in their background checks, ensuring families are screened for orphan eligibility by verifying the birth certificate of the child and the death certificate of the father, among other documents.  In Islam, a child is considered an orphan if the father has passed away.

As a sponsor, you will receive a welcome pack containing details about your orphan and annual progress updates. Your sponsorship provides orphans with education, meals, healthcare, books, uniforms and transportation. On special occasions like Eid, where logistics permit, we may send Eid cards from your sponsored orphan(s).

Our orphan sponsorship program has been operating since 1993, spanning countries including Mali, Niger, Senegal, The Gambia, Pakistan and others. Your donations are Zakat-eligible, impacting the lives of children and their families.

Be Close to the
Prophet (saw)

'The Prophet (saw) said, "The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this," - and he held his two fingers together to illustrate'. [Bukhari]

SubhanAllah, the reward for sponsoring an orphan is amazing - to be close to the Prophet (saw) in Paradise, as close as two fingers of a hand. The Prophet (saw) loved children, and he particularly blessed the wealth and homes of Muslims who cared for orphans.

Give Zakat in
Ramadan

Such is the importance of Zakat that it is mentioned in the Qur’an alongside Salah 30 times, and literally means ‘purification and increase’. Zakat is a serious obligation upon every adult Muslim of sound mind, if their wealth exceeds the minimum amount known as Nisab.

During Ramadan, Allah multiplies the reward of giving Zakat by 70 times - so it's the perfect time to calculate and distribute your Zakat!
