Muslim Hands USA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit working to alleviate poverty amongst some of
the most vulnerable communities around the World. It primarily focuses on improving access to
WASH, providing Health, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods, and responding to Emergencies. 


The Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all efforts related to
fundraising campaigns.

Position Summary

Main Responsibilities (Fundraising):

  • Provide strong leadership and coordination to achieve annual fundraising income targets.
  • Develop and implement new fundraising ideas to raise awareness of campaigns to attract new supporters and increase net income.
  • To develop and deepen existing and new donor relationships in order to maximize fundraising potential and supporter retention.
  • Assist to develop effective, high-quality communication through all relevant network’s channels (print, broadcast, outdoor, online and social media) to successfully promote fundraising campaigns.
  • Grow Muslim Hands USA brand awareness through innovative ideas, digital marketing, social media, community and sponsored events.
  • To assist planning of events and deliver new activities which maximize public participation and engage different communities to attract new supporters and raise net income.
  • Attend networking events to present the organization to prospective donors, funders and networks to secure new supports.
  • To support to expand engagement with volunteer, mosques, schools & colleges, various communities and etc. through different activities.
  • Ensure the Institutional fundraising team effectively uses the Muslim Hands software suite for managing budgets, monitoring and coordination of programs across the organization.
  • Work closely with the program team to generate and maximize the use of reports and case studies to use for fundraising campaigns and provide supporters with feedback.
  • Develop and implement an effective schedule to provide regular feedback to all the supporters especially during emergencies, Ramadan, Qurbani and for any specific campaigns.
  • Oversee and ensure to deliver excellent customer service to all the existing and prospective supporters.

Main Responsibilities (Marketing):

  • Lead on the planning and implementation of Muslim Hands USA marketing and communications strategy.
  • Develop a marketing budgets and timelines for all the fundraising campaigns, press and associated activities.
  • Oversee the design and coordination of all Muslim Hands USA marketing materials, including drafting and editing copy.
  • Lead and deliver fundraising campaigns through a wide range of communication channels that increase the profile, brand, reputation and influence of Muslim Hands USA.
  • Review all communication material from design to production to ensure they have a consistent branding and coherent message for all internal and external correspondence.
  • Ensure consistency of message, tone and terminology across all communication channels and appropriate language use for a diverse range of audiences.
  • Support the communications team to identify the right audiences, using tools, techniques and channels.
  • Oversee and manage the procurements of all marketing such as digital, television, print, radio and outdoor.
  • Act as principal liaison with external corporations and PR consultants.
  • Ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to in all our communications required.
