Muslim Hands USA, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking dedicated individuals to join the Donor Relations team for Ramadan 2026. As a Donor Care Representative your primary responsibility is to engage with donors on our ongoing campaigns 

Office-based role in Valley Stream, NY 11580

Key Responsibilities: 

• Make outbound calls to existing donors via to update them on Muslim Hands USA’s initiatives during the Ramadan period and ask for donations. 

• Answer inbound calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner 

• Provide accurate information about programs and donation queries. 

• Schedule callbacks and ensure proper follow-up processes are completed. 

• Achieve individual and team fundraising targets. 

• Ensure use of CRM systems and call logging processes. 

• Review lapsed donors and actively engage with them to renew commitments. 

• Always ensure confidentiality and integrity of donor data. 

• Follow provided scripts and guidelines for effective communication and consistency. 

• Provide feedback on donor responses and suggestions for improvement. 

• Prepare and submit regular reports on donor contact activity and performance metrics. 

• Support any ongoing activities or events as and when requested. 

• Provide additional support to any areas of work if needed. 

Requirements:  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 

• Ability to use CRM and phone software confidently. 

• Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role is preferred. 

• Empathy and understanding of the nonprofit sector. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Comfortable working in an office setting. 

• Must have knowledge of common Islamic terminology such as Sadaqah, Zakat, Sadaqah Jariyah, Ramadan, Eid AI-Fitr. 

• Full training will be provided. 

• Flexibility with shift patterns. 

• Must be able to work from the office in Valley Stream, NY 11580.
