The ongoing conflict has resulted in the loss of at least 30,000 Palestinian lives and has left over 74,000 people injured.

With the conflict continuing, up to 1.7 million people have been displaced across the Gaza Strip meaning that over 75 percent of the population have been forced to move multiple times in order to find safety. 

Millions of people have been left without essential fuel and have severely limited access to food and medicine.

Before the recent upsurge in conflict, Gaza was already struggling with a 16-year blockade that severely limited their access to necessities, resulting in the people of Gaza becoming severely dependent on humanitarian assistance.
